HYDRANGEAS – Did you Know?

The colour of your Hydrangea blooms can be dictated by your soil pH. Acidic soil will turn your Hydrangeas blue while an alkaline soil will turn your Hydrangeas pink. You can “change” your Hydrageas by applying lime (to make your soil alkaline) or Sulphur (to make your soil acidic). Alternatively there are products called “Colour me Pink” and “Colour me Blue” available at the garden center which will help do this for you.
